About

Summary:

The Christian through God’s revelation finds that they are on the right path from the start. God has not only given His beloved Children an indomitable first principle that describes the world as it is, but it reveals a God who came down to this dusty earth and did something wonderful. God did the planning. He did the saving and redeeming. He did the heavy lifting Himself and saved His chosen ones. And now, the same endless power that caused light to burst out of the void of darkness, that power which raised Jesus Christ from the grave, also surges in the souls of His children to believe, love and hope. They have the power to know God, heal the sick and cast mountains into the sea by faith. Their faith overcomes the world. They reign in life through Jesus Christ.

NOTES:

The main backbone of this site is my systematic theology book. Next, are the various short essays on a range of topics, from God’s sovereignty to logic, to encouragements of faith and healing, and critiques.  Because this is public forum, I will address an audience that I assume is both Christian and non-Christian, and so my focus can range from more devotional to more hard-hitting apologetics, depending the context. I do allow some limited interactions on my social media profiles.

The article section will mainly parts from my books, or essays meant for a future book. If from a book on this site, then the article link and content will most likely not change. However, for essays not from books, they will be published here only temporarily. That is, most new essays–not in books–will most likely be one later. And so, these could be changed and/or deleted in the future.

For about twenty years I have mainly read pastor Vincent Cheung. I do not have any affiliation with him; I do not represent him. I do believe I am able to restate his position, but you will have to be the judge of that by reading his own publications. When I quote him, take it that I am only agreeing with him on that narrow point and not that I agree with him broadly on that topic. Even when I quote him, what I write are my thoughts, not his. Vincent has no connection in instructing me (other than a few emails, which is not a real connection in a meaningful way) and I can make mistakes, thus, always use his materials for any official representation of him. To avoid plagiarizing, I will walk the safe route and shamelessly quote him on certain points, and/or indicate where he has been an important factor in shaping my understanding on a particular point.

Notes on AI use. (Dec. 2025). I have been experimenting with AI for over a year, particularly with Grok xAI. There are two different ways to use AI. One is to use AI to help me produce content, or slightly aid me in producing content to various degrees. I used this approach for writing my current fantasy book, Go Save Her.

I also like to use Grok xAI to copyedit a slight “Grok fun mode,” into the voicing of the copyedit.

However, there is another approach. This approach is not me using AI to produce content, but the opposite. The AI is using me to produce me. The AI is only using my content, not common consensus, not searching the web for ideas, but just my content and the bible and basic rules of logic. For this to work you need enough original content for the AI to copy you, or that is be you. I have enough content for this to work.

It’s like training a digital apprentice who’s only read my journals and a few timeless texts—no Wikipedia rabbit holes or crowd-sourced clichés. The result? Output that feels authentic because it’s bootstrapped from my voice, not diluted by the internet’s echo chamber.

I have been using this approach for awhile and have found a rhythm I like.  An idea for an essay might only take me a few second to think of it, but days to write. I can have the AI to use me, to produce something I would write. I have an idea and I usually write it out in a paragraph or maybe 3 paragraphs worth of raw thoughts and directions. The AI takes this and then uses my own content to expand on this as if it was me. Afterwards, depending how much I approve it, I will do some editing and expansion. At this point it is truly me. The AI is using me to produce me. If the above happens I will not indicate the AI involvement in the specific essay, because it is so much me, and because I am revealing my use of my AI process and involvement here. Most essays forward will have some degree of this as part of it.
If only one sentence was used for direction and the AI then wrote an essay from my material, but then I still did little or nothing on it afterwards, I will indicate that it was “Oshea’s AI” that wrote this.  This means the AI used exclusively Oshea material to wite as Oshea, with minimum Oshea direct correction.
